Sundays at the River

Thanks for checking out our video blog! This is a way for us to share what it is about the Bethel / Sunday River area that we love most.

We know you have lots of ski towns to choose as your vacation destination across New England and we hope these short videos help you find additional reasons to love this place.

Feburary 12th, 2017: Mt. Will in Winter

This trail is about 3 miles south of town- it’s easy to access and offers year round fun on a 3 mile loop!

January 29thy, 2017: Carter’s Cross Country Ski Center

Carter’s Cross Country Ski Center is a wonderful asset to our area! This family owned business has more than 50km of trails at the Bethel location and has trails that run across family land (since the 1700s). The deep ties to the geographic location keep the Carters here in Bethel. Their ski center offers more than trails, views and an outdoor experience. There is a full retail and rental shop, off-grid cabins for rent and lodge. Learn more here!

“Wholesome, genuine, awesome place to live” – owner, Toby Winkler on moving YOPP Skis to not-so-pompous, Bethel, ME.

Check out the brilliance behind handcrafted YOPP Skis with Toby Winkler and Jake Bracy. We had a blast on the hill with these guys!

December 25th, 2016: From my family, to yours

THANK YOU to all of my wonderful clients, family and friends that have made this year the best one yet! We wish you all a happy holiday season with your loved ones ~ Cassie Mason Szeliga

December 11th, 2016: Welcome to The Gem Theater & Art Center

Check out Wade Kavanaugh, co-owner of The Gem Theater in Bethel, as he shares about the re-opening of Bethel’s movie theater.

Currently, The Gem is more than a place to catch the blockbusters – it offers space for artists to display their work, co-office space available for rent and it hosts fun community events throughout the month.

Wade and his wife, Bethany, are working hard to open a screen dedicated to independent films

November 13th, 2016: 5 Reasons December is the Perfect Month to Put Your Home on the Market

I’m always asked “what is the best month to list my home for sale”. While there isn’t one magic month, there are definitely advantages to listing in December and my top five are:

1. Change in calendar year: capture more buyers

2. Lower inventory = less competition

3. Serious Buyers

4. More time for showings during holiday vacations and school breaks

5. Close in the Spring

  2. Variety of Inventory
  3. Free Gift Wrapping!
